Over There Then Back Again...

... I returned to Bangkok in January which coincided with mass protests and occasional shootings. The atmosphere was electric, and mostly peaceful. A page of pictures can be found here. To be honest, I'm really enjoying my travels to that 'neck of the woods'. It's the curries I tell you!

Sandwiched inbetween Bangkok was a generous two week stint roaming around North & Central Viet Na- sorry, 'NARM®, for that is officially how it's spelt. I experienced all kinds of places: The crazy traffic of hectic Ha Noi, the serenity of Ha Long Bay, the caves of Phong Nha, the delightful food (and thousands of bloody tourists) in Hoi An, and glimpses of Danang & Dong Hoi. Really very eclectic. The result was a great success! And I intend on returning at some point, especially since I did not have time to visit the South of the country. For now, here's a teaser pic... Hopefully next month (or at least some point this year) I can upload lots more pictures.

I hope you have fun perusing my demented den. And if you feel the need to 'crack one out', use the on-site, all-digital, highly decorated mid-range Japanese electronic crapper. This months attractive toilet fragrance is called Gimp Eat Dog, which is truly a scent to get the tails wagging. Sorry.
