Now then, after Bond, James Bond, 007, licensed to kill, George Lazenby thought he would become an international star and rule the world. He didn't. Far from it, in fact. The work dried up very quickly, and he ended up making some rather obscure films in Hong Kong. He made three films in rapid succession, all for Raymond Chow's WORLD FAMOUS Hong Kong-based studio Golden Harvest.
The first of these three films was called Stoner (no, really!), and was released in 1974, and has all but vanished from the face of this earth. I wonder why. The year after, Lazenby teamed up with HK action actor Wang-Yu to make The Man From Hong Kong. This is an enjoyable action-packed romp, a review of which can be found in the Sleaze section of the site. Finally, in 1976, Golden Harvest released Queens Ransom, a dire HK film indeed. I'm not going to review it (it's that bad) but I will show you some (guffaw) HILARIOUS pictures where the subtitles go all crazy. Poor film = Poor subtitles, yes. This we now know. Now.

Right. Good. That's that then. I must say a large amount of the cast starred in the Kung-Fu Magnum Opus that is Enter the Dragon. The Lady that plays Bruce's sister (Kick-ass action heroine Angela Mao) - she's in it, the 'Old Man'?! He's in it (as -HEY!- an old man!), and of course Bolo, to name but three.
