The Jazziest of the bunch by far. Jazz can really irritate people, so I had to find the right kind of funky balance.
I've always loved the sound of the Hammond Organ, and have a fair few Jimmy Smith records from his 'Verve' days. Also, Brian Bennett was the drummer in The Shadows, and made a lot of music for the legendary KPN music library. This volume also includes the king hell classic 'Hector (Part.2)', and if anybody is familiar with the BBC TV's 'Money Programme' will recognize Jimmy Smith's 'Carpetbaggers'.
Originally created in 2009, I made a better quality update in 2017, which replaced the previous version of Root Down (And Get It) with an extended, unedited, and in my opinion far superior version of the classic track. Zambezi (Parts 1 & 2) by The Fun Company is now presented at the correct pitch.
