Volume 4 has no central theme... it's more of a variety of funk styles (Soundtrack, Soul, Jazz, Poetry...),
in the same mould as Volume 1. Mayfield's 'Right On For The Darkness' is one of my all time favourites... Willie Wright recorded a superb version of it, which I included on the Vol.8 compilation. Groovy.
