Volume 12 was -a long, long time ago- supposed to be the tenth & final VFI mix. It was planned to be a 'double CD' type of deal. Two compilations! A funky, fun combo pack! But it was a mess. Nothing really blended together very well, so I scrapped it and started all over again. Volumes 11 & 12 are the result of this time-consuming funky pondering... Effectively 2 compilations conceived out of what was supposed to be a double CD final volume. And, in 2018, I did a rare thing and changed it again, dropping the track Shoo-B-Doop And Cop Him by Betty Davis, because it simply didn't fit.
