Nuda Per Satana aka Nude For Satan (Luigi Batzella, 1974)
"Good Night? But how?!"
Batzella's delirious roller coaster ride of smut is one of the more bizarre offerings Italian sleaze has to offer. Indeed, for the first hour the film rides the crest of a wave that is so bizarre, it's surreal.
The film begins with the lovely Rita Calderoni (bum, below) running around naked in slow-motion... her bountiful breasts bobbing about all over the place. Then there's a car accident, and a man William Benson (Stelio Candelli) leaps to the rescue of the victim, Susan Smith (Calderoni, actually clothed for once). They attempt to get help from the inhabitants of a nearby castle, only to find themselves trapped in a weird satanic world of evil!
Now then, this is the Dutch 'hardcore' version, with around 8 extra minutes of random hardcore pornography thrown in, just like Caligula. The film also features very suitable mad synth music by Alberto Baldan Bembo. Unfortunately, the film slows down after the hour mark, as it tries desperately to explain what on earth is going on . And after 20 minutes of such nonsense, it's back to the lesbotic lustings! Hurrah!
Nude for Satan is one of the best exploitation flicks out there. And it's called Nude for Satan, which is a wonderful, wonderful title. Well done everybody, now go home and shower.
