Tagged as "The first Kung-Fu Sex Comedy!" Karate, Küsse, Blonde Katzen (literally: Karate, Kisses, Blonde Cats!) is a unique co-production between Shaw brothers and Hofbauer's 'rapid' films. It was immediately banned in Germany and eventually released in a heavily censored version. After all these years, thoses smashing people at Camera Obscura have released it uncut for the first time!
The story concerns six lovely German lasses, who have been cruelly kidnapped by pirates and sold to an evil sex-obsessed crime boss Tiao, who is a man who likes to stroke his hair all the time. One of the girls doesn't last very long, and the remaining five girls are sold to Tiao as 'virgins' (my arse), but at least two of them are certainly not unsullied, indeed, some of them aren't even blonde! So, the ladies are taken by Tiao and primed for auction, but at the same time are secretly training in the deadly art of Kung-Fu and how to spit and not swallow! Topless Kung-Fu chaos will undoubtedly ensue.
Karate, Küsse, blonde Katzen features lovely German actress Sonja Jeannine, who was well-known from various Schulmädchen Reports (schoolgirl reports) in the 1970s, and she really kicks some ASS in this, as does the powerhouse Gillian Bray (ABOVE: Middle)... what a woman!
The film delivers sexy kung-fu thrills and spills, with an extra heavy dose of immense silliness. Expect a lot of montages when the ladies are being taught Kung-Fu by Tiao's sworn enemy, the maverick Ko-Pao. Expect a ghost-like lesbian in the form of Tao-Fu, and then expect WIGS! Ohhh, the wigs! And so many of them, both on the girls and the boys! The German dub is hilarious!
Karate, Küsse, Blonde Katzen is an unmitigated sleaze classic!
