La Comtesse Perverse aka Countess Perverse (Jess Franco, 1973)

Indeed! This low grade soft-porn re-imagining of the most dangerous game from the dirty mind of Jess Franco was recently dug-up by Mondo Macabro, and good for them, I say!
A beautiful naked woman is found washed up on a beach… Her nipples are like bullets. The couple who find her actually procure lovely ladies for the Count & Countess Zaroff, who live, hunt and romp on a neighbouring island. Chaos ensues.
La Comtesse Perverse is one of ELEVEN films completed by Smut Lord Jess Franco in 1973 alone! And it shows. The production, camera work and acting is all below par… Which is the usual standard for Franco. There are moments where absolutely nothing is going on whatsoever - the films running time is 76 minutes, and it still feels too long. That said, there's enough eye-candy and titillation going on to entertain a masculine audience. In fact, this is actually very explicit at times, and Euro-sleaze favourite Lina Romay is naked a great deal throughout: Lovely as she was, she's dreadful in this.
All the negative elements tend to be positive elements in a Franco film. The hurried production, mental (read: incompetent) camera work, the awful acting, the ugly house by the beach, it all adds up to something so sleazy and exploitative, that it's difficult to actually despise. La Comtesse Perverse is an enjoyable skin flick that's not suitable for vegetarians.
