Pictures of the late, great Anna Karina everywhere! She was the darling of the French nouvelle vague, and was a popular singer (and actress!) in her own right. Volume 1 is dominated by Serge Gainsbourg, not only with his then muse Jane Birkin, but also his collaborations with Anna Karina & arranger Jean-Claude Vannier.
