Back again to Haukadalur to catch some bubbling Geysirs. The weather was all over the shop! Every Ten minutes came a different type of weather: form hail storms to sunshine to snow, and back again. At least it wa very pretty around this area, and I did get some decent pics of spurting geysirs without freezing my fingers. Check out the pics BELOW LEFT (Ooh! Cloud!) and BELOW RIGHT (STORM!)

ABOVE (Not directly above): The Strokkur Geysir picture which PROVES HORIZONTAL HAIL STONES EXIST! And here we are, we mortal humans, slap bang in the middle of it. Wonderful. Well, one thing you can count on with Icelandic weather is the it will pass. And it did. Next picture to that is Litli Geysir, which is such a wee Geysir that all it really does is bubble and steam like a kettle. Bless.
DIRECTLY ABOVE, ABOVE RIGHT AND RIGHT: Here we see a huge hole in the ground. Where it goes, nobody knows. But be sure there are a lot more holes and caverns underground, making it dangerous ground to tread on. BELOW: From the point of view of another pond (check out the colour of that water!), you can see the Strokkur Geysir erupting in the background. Nice. Click on the small picture below to see the Spurting Geysir in closer detail!
