The Brugge Centraal festival got off to an attractive start, with a music & fire installation by artist Compagnie Carabosse. The installation was in & around Minnewaterpark, and although the fire part was mostly good, the music part was not so hot... it sometimes sounded like I'd walked into a 1980s Luc Besson film... With a migraine. On the whole, however, it was an attractive evening.
ABOVE: Firey light bulbs hanging between trees.
RIGHT: Firey floating vests! I'm not joking... the picture's a bit soft, but look at the larger version... vests. That's what you get when you're dealing with arseholes artists... they tend to push things a little bit too far. BELOW: Moody nights shots of Bruges.
