No doubt about it, Bruges is a very pretty little town. There sure ain't much to do at night, but if you want a quiet weekend away to eat well & sleep, Bruges is definitely the place to be. Of course, being in Belgium, the obvious clichés must be shown first... namely beer & chocolate... a lethal combination indeed.

BELOW LEFT & RIGHT: The 'Toyo Ito' pavilion has been in the centre of Bruges since 2002. It's a nice, basic design, though somewhat out of place within the historical surroundings.
