Page 4: Flam, Tromso & The Midnight Sun
FAR LEFT: The not-so-mysterious magic of The Kjosfossen Waterfall.
Look closer to see some kind of crazed medieval witch presiding over the earth's incredible power!
LEFT: The beautiful town of Flåm.
This picture is presented in oh-so-special worldwidegimpvision!
Oooooooh... ugh.
The 3 Piccies Below: Tromsø in all its glory.. it was verrry cold considering it was mid-June, but then I was deep into the Arctic Circle.
The 2 Pictures in the middle are of the Midnight Sun, and indeed, a view of Tromsø itself! It's very difficult to describe the light... these pictures do look like a normal sunset. But wait! If you look at the picture (Bottom Left) of the Ishavskatedralen (Arctic Catherdal), you'll notice the orange light of the sunset, but with the blue sky behind it. This picture was taken just before midnight. The sun set exactly where you see it, and stayed there unti sunrise. Kooky. Finally, the picture next to it (Street View) again shows the strange light. At this point it was after midnight, and the sky began to cloud over. I never saw the midnight sun again after that day. I think I just got lucky.
