ABOVE: Ahhh, the beautiful scenic station of Nara. Ohhh what pleasure it is to behold thee... Err, wait a deer-stuffing minute, something'swrong. ABOVE LEFT: Why, it's a curry house in Nara with a pointlessly random toy train theme! WHY OH WHY, JAPAN? WHY DO YOU DO THESE THINGS? Ahem, 'Kari' is actually quite popular in Japan, with rice of (main) course.
TO YOUR RIGHT: I couldn't figure out the meaning of the text above this drinks machine. Does it mean they've recycled human tea leaves... tea leaves... made from humans? And, while we're on the subject, WHAT IS THE SECRET OF SOYLENT GREEN?

ABOVE LEFT: Deer, deer everywhere. ABOVE RIGHT: This is the entrance to the Nara prefectural museum of art. In the background, you can see the local NHK TV station. NHK is the Japanese BBC, if you like. Now then, The Nara museum was hosting an M.C.Escher exhibition, which I very much enjoyed. Oh, but the irony... Living in the Netherlands, and travelling all the way to Japan to see an exhibition of work by a Dutchman.
